Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Production to lead and inspire our visual effects and animation team. This individual will play a critical role in driving the studio's growth, ensuring seamless production processes, and fostering a collaborative environment for both clients and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Leadership:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the production pipeline for visual effects and animation projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards.
  • Implement efficient workflows and manage resources to optimize productivity and creativity.
Business Development & Growth:
  • Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to grow the business through new clients, projects, and partnerships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with partners, vendors, and key stakeholders to expand the studio's network and capabilities.
  • Develop and execute strategies to position the studio as a leader in the global market.
Team & Studio Management:
  • Act as a mentor and guide for the production team, fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive work environment.
  • Be a point of contact not only for clients but also for the entire team, ensuring alignment and open communication across all levels.
  • Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent and build a robust team capable of tackling diverse and complex projects.
Strategic Thinking & Innovation:
  • Collaborate with leadership to define long-term goals and implement strategies for sustainable growth.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements, integrating innovative solutions to stay ahead of the curve.
Key Qualifications:
  • Proven experience (10+ years preferred) in visual effects and animation production, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow a business, develop client relationships, and build strategic partnerships.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and inspire diverse teams.
  • Strong understanding of the VFX and animation pipeline, including technical and creative aspects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and team members effectively.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and implementing innovative solutions.
