Role: Regional Sales Manager

Location: West India, South India & East India

Role & Responsibilities

1. Sales and Business Management:

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve volume targets and exceed budget numbers.

Monitor dealer performance, ensuring viability and profitability through actionable plans.

2. Dealer Network Management:

Manage dealer sales and service-related issues, ensuring smooth operations.

Maintain consistent communication with dealers and marketing teams regarding periodic campaigns, promotions, and product launches.

Identify and onboard prospective dealers to expand the network and coverage.

3. Market Analysis and Business Development:

Analyze market trends, identify key market segments, and develop targeted business initiatives.

Track competitor activities and implement counter-strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

4. Team Leadership:

Lead and manage a team of Area Sales Managers (minimum team size of 5), providing guidance, performance reviews, and mentorship.

Facilitate Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).

5. Operational Excellence:

Ensure compliance with MIS requirements, including timely and accurate reporting and data analysis.

Develop and deliver sales plans in collaboration with dealers to increase revenue and market share.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Experience: 7-10 years of experience in sales, preferably in the automobile/electric vehicle industry.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.

Language: Proficiency in the regional language is essential.

Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools is required.

Flexibility: Must be open to traveling extensively and adapt to varying work schedules.
