Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our Salesforce team The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of AWS services particularly S3 buckets and have hands on experience working with Salesforce This role will be responsible for the deep archiving of data from the Salesforce application as well as the migration of attachments and email messages to AWS S3 Additionally collaboration with cross functional teams will be key to implementing best practices in cloud operations ensuring data integrity security and availability
Primary Responsibilities
1 Design and implement a deep archiving strategy for all data from Salesforce prior to 2019
2 Migrate attachments post2019 from existing systems to AWS S3 ensuring accurate data transfer and minimal disruption to ongoing operations
3 Migrate email messages post2019 to AWS S3 maintaining compliance with organizational and legal standards
4 Monitor and manage AWS S3 storage ensuring optimal performance and costefficiency
5 Collaborate with Salesforce teams to streamline the data migration process and integrate Salesforce data with AWS S3
6 Conduct data validation checks to ensure completeness and accuracy of migrated data
7 Implement monitoring logging and ing solutions for AWS services to quickly identify and address potential issues
8 Document processes and procedures related to data migration and AWS infrastructure management
9 Troubleshoot and resolve any issues arising during the archiving and migration processes
Required Qualifications
1 Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
2 Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer with hands on experience in AWS services specifically S3
3 Strong knowledge of Salesforce including data extraction and integration processes
4 Familiarity with cloud storage best practices and data migration strategies
5 Understanding of security practices and compliance standards related to data storage
6 Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
1 AWS certifications eg AWS Certified Cloud Engineer
2 Experience with CICD tools and practices
3 Knowledge of backup solutions and data recovery strategies
