Job Summary:

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automating deployment processes, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems. This role is crucial in supporting the development and deployment of e-governance applications under the Digital India initiative, contributing to the enhancement of public service delivery through technology.

Job Description (JD)

The Agile Coach (Scrum Master) will be responsible for facilitating Agile practices within SupTech project teams, ensuring that Scrum processes are implemented effectively to improve team performance and project outcomes. This role involves removing obstacles, guiding teams through Agile ceremonies, and fostering a collaborative, transparent, and self-organizing environment. The Agile Coach will work closely with product owners and stakeholders to ensure project goals align with business needs. Candidates should have strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, experience in coaching teams, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvement within the organization.


Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

  • Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and review meetings, ensuring all ceremonies are effective and focused on continuous improvement.
  • Promote Agile Best Practices: Guide teams in adopting Agile principles, tools, and practices, fostering an Agile mindset across the organization and ensuring adherence to Scrum processes.
  • Remove Impediments: Identify and address blockers that hinder team progress, working with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues promptly and enable smooth workflows.
  • Team Coaching & Mentorship: Coach team members on Agile methodologies, helping them improve productivity, accountability, and collaboration while building a self-organizing, high-performing team.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with product owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, facilitating clear communication between development teams and business units.
  • Performance Tracking & Improvement: Use Agile metrics like velocity, burndown charts, and sprint goals to monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement, enabling data-driven decision-making.


Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering or a related field.


Desirable Skills and Certificates

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist
