Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled SAP PI (Process Integration) / CPI (Cloud Platform Integration)
Consultant for our client to design, implement, and maintain integration solutions for our SAP
environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP integration technologies and the ability to seamlessly connect SAP systems with external applications to support business processes and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Integration Design and Development:
- Develop and configure integration scenarios using SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI.
- Design end-to-end interfaces for SAP and non-SAP systems using industry- standard protocols (REST, SOAP, IDoc, RFC, etc.).
- Create integration flows, mappings, and adaptors based on business requirements.
System Implementation and Support:
- Manage the implementation and testing of integration solutions.
- Provide ongoing support for SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI environments, troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance.
Middleware Administration:
- Monitor middleware systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Manage system upgrades, patches,and migrations to SAP CPI from SAP PI/PO if required.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and external partners to gather and understand integration requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions.
Documentation and Best Practices:
- Document integration processes, configurations, and workflows for future reference.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements.
Innovation and Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for process automation and system improvement.
- Stay updated on the latest SAP integration tools, technologies, and trends.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP PI/PO and/or SAP CPI development and support.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering complex integration scenarios for SAP systems.
- Expertise in SAP integration protocols (IDoc, RFC, ALE, Web Services, OData).
- Strong understanding of XML, XSLT, JSON and other data transformation technologies.
- Knowledge of middleware tools like SAP PO (Process Orchestration) and CPI adapters.
- Proficiency in Groovy scripting, Java, or other relevant programming languages.
- Experience with integration monitoring tools (e.g., SAP Solution Manager, Runtime Workbench)
