Job Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Delivery Architect (Tech Director) to lead and implement large-scale Data & AI projects. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing end-to-end delivery on, a strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and expertise with Snowflake and Databricks. This role requires exceptional stakeholder management, strategic planning, and excellent communication skills.
Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
1. End-to-End Project Leadership:
- Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of Data & AI projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Manage project budgets between $5-10 million, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
2. Technical Expertise:
- Architect and implement solutions using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Utilize Snowflake, Databricks, and other data engineering tools for high-performance data processing and AI/ML model deployment.
- Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and scalability.
3. Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate effectively with senior leadership, technical teams, and external stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders.
4. Team & Vendor Coordination:
- Oversee cross-functional teams, providing direction and technical guidance.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with project requirements and delivery timelines.
5. Project Planning & Quality Assurance:
- Develop detailed project plans, track KPIs, and implement quality control processes.
- Ensure compliance with data standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 15-20 years in Data & AI project delivery, with a strong focus on cloud platforms, data engineering, and ML/AI solutions.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, and Databricks. Strong foundation in data architecture and ML model deployment.
- Project Management: Proven track record of managing $5-10 million projects, delivering on time and within budget.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities; able to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing vendor partnerships.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Agile/Scrum project management experience.
- Knowledge of data regulations, privacy standards, and industry best practices
