We are looking for a UX Designer to help shape the future for how our clients serve their customers. You will work across every stage of the Experience, from designing new features to
prototyping high fidelity solutions. Our team is a close-knit collective of diverse thinkers and doers that pioneer solutions that have never been done, collaborate with our clients as partners, and design for future iteration and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate knowledge gathering sessions with stakeholders, clients, external vendors, etc & understand the requirements thoroughly. Help plan research activities and suggest different ways to get the required data.
- Document and also help designers in documenting the findings in required appropriate formats such as information architecture, user journey flows, building personas & scenarios, empathy mapping.
- Review concepts, wireframes & final designs while leading the project to ensure on-time delivery with high quality standards.
- Raise product/process issues and risks.
- Come up with quick solutions to help team to tackle complex challenges while addressing both user needs & business needs.
- Review & maintain design system to ensure consistency across multiple platforms.
- Handle effective communication, presentations & ideation in a cross-functional product development team.
- Provide design thought leadership, actively drive co-create approaches between design and other stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with latest achievements, best practices and trends in design
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Agile/Lean UX methodologies, and utilize the latest UX processes, such as design sprints, collaborative design, service design, informal and formal testing and rapid prototyping.
- Guide team members well and facilitate their learning in the organization, share latest design trends.
- Conduct workshops/presentations with cross functional teams
- Contribute towards design team hiring
Need to have:
- Must have Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Interaction Design, Visual Communication, Human Computer Design, and related fields.
- 8+ years of experience designing and delivering products in cross-functional teams from start to finish.
- 2+ years of experience of leading a team of at least 3 designers.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design methods and best practices and always looking to improve on work processes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, agile environment, while leading process improvement efforts.
- Proactive in taking quick decisions to drive product innovation, delivery, process, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to assess requirements and articulate design solutions.
- Experience in data driven, user research driven and other design approaches to help decision making.
- Constant drive to stay up to date with the latest industry news and developments
- Experience working with existing design systems and define new design systems.
- Passion to bring simplicity and ease of use to complex design issues
- Passion for typography, visual systems and developing high-quality & intuitive User interfaces.
- Figma expertise is a must with experience of XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
