Role Description


This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at Alliance World School.

As an Accountant at Alliance World School, you will play a critical role in managing the company's financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Financial Accounting:

  • Overseeing day-to-day financial transactions, including balance sheets, P/L statements, depreciation/ amortisation, cash flow statement, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Taxation:

  • Managing all aspects of taxation, including income tax, GST, TDS and other statutory compliances like PF, ESI.
  • Preparing and filing tax returns on time.
  • Staying updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.

Financial Analysis:

  • Analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations to the management team.
  • Preparing financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitoring budget performance and variance analysis.

Audit and Compliance:

  • Coordinating internal and external audits.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.



Candidate Qualifications And Expertise


Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA qualification is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance roles.
  • Proven experience in taxation and familiarity with Indian tax laws.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Tally, other accounting software and MS Excel..

Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and make strategic recommendations.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders and interface with CA, CS and auditors.

Team Player:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Attention to Detail:

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.

Adaptability:

  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
