Automation Test Architect Location: Bengaluru / Pune / Hyderabad / Noida / Bhuvaneshwar Experience: 13 – 15 Years About the Role: We are looking for a seasoned Automation Test Architect with deep expertise in Quality Engineering and Automation Framework Development. This role is ideal for a hands-on technologist who thrives in designing scalable, maintainable, and high-performing automation solutions across Web, API, and Mobile platforms. You will play a pivotal role in shaping test strategies, driving automation initiatives, and mentoring teams to deliver high-quality software products. Key Responsibilities: Architect and implement robust, scalable automation frameworks for Web, API, and Mobile platforms. Lead the design and development of custom automation solutions tailored to specific project needs. Leverage JavaScript-based automation frameworks such as Playwright (preferred), Cypress, and WebDriver.io. Apply strong Java programming skills in building and enhancing automation capabilities. Define and drive Test Strategies, Test Plans, and Automation Roadmaps in alignment with business goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and QA engineers to ensure seamless integration of automation into the development lifecycle. Conduct Database Testing and ensure data integrity across systems. Promote best practices in Quality Engineering, including test data management, test coverage analysis, and continuous improvement. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QA teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align on quality goals and deliverables. Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience in designing and developing automation frameworks from scratch. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Java. Hands-on expertise with Playwright, Cypress, and/or WebDriver.io. Solid understanding and experience in Database Testing. Deep knowledge of Quality Engineering principles and test automation best practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Nice to Have: Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Cloud-based testing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques.
