Job Description : We are seeking a skilled and motivated Android Developer with over 3 years of experience to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Android app development, including modern Android SDKs, tools, and best practices.

The candidate should be able to work on both new projects and the ongoing development and maintenance of existing applications.

Key Responsibilities : Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Work with outside data sources and APIs.

Unit-test code for robustness, usability, and general reliability.

Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Manage and optimize the Android app’s lifecycle, from development to deployment and maintenance.

Required Skills and Qualifications : Experience : 3+ years of proven Android app development.

Languages : Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.

Tools : Strong experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and version control (Git).

Frameworks & Libraries : Familiarity with Jetpack components (Live Data, View Model, Navigation, Room) and third-party libraries like Retrofit, Dagger, Glide, etc.

API Integration : Experience in working with RESTful APIs and offline storage mechanisms.

UI/UX : Strong understanding of modern Android UI design principles, including Material Design.

Testing : Knowledge of testing frameworks such as JUnit and Espresso.

Architecture : Experience with MVVM, MVP, or other architectural patterns.

Debugging : Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Qualifications : Experience with Coroutines and/or Rx Java .

Familiarity with Google Play Store app submission and management.

Knowledge of mobile security best practices.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Familiarity with Firebase services (Auth, Realtime Database, Cloud Messaging).

Understanding of CI/CD processes for Android development.

Soft Skills : Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Good communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Passion for continuously learning and improving development practices.
