About the Role We are seeking an experienced and certified Senior Duck Creek Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Duck Creek Technologies products and extensive hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing Duck Creek solutions. You will play a critical role in customizing and enhancing our insurance software platform to meet business requirements, improve system performance, and deliver innovative solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy Duck Creek modules including Policy, Billing, and Claims based on business requirements.Lead the customization and configuration of Duck Creek software to optimize functionality and enhance user experience.Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and cross-functional teams.Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables.Participate in solution architecture discussions and contribute to the overall technology roadmap.Ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and Duck Creek platform guidelines.Manage multiple development projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project schedules.Work closely with QA teams to define testing strategies and ensure defect-free releases.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Duck Creek product updates, certifications, and industry trends.Required QualificationsProven experience (typically 6+ years) working as a Duck Creek Developer, with hands-on expertise in Duck Creek Policy, Billing, and/or Claims modules.Duck Creek Developer Certification is mandatory .Strong programming skills in relevant languages and technologies (e.g., C#,. NET, SQL, XML, Java Script).Experience with Duck Creek Studio, Workflow, Business Rules, and Product Designer tools.Solid understanding of insurance domain concepts, policy lifecycle, and underwriting processes.Experience with integration technologies such as web services, REST APIs, and SOA.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to lead and mentor development teams effectively.Preferred QualificationsAdditional certifications in Duck Creek or related insurance technologies.Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure).Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.Experience with database management and performance optimization.
