Executive / Senior Executive Cloud & DevOps Engineer

Role Overview: The Executive/Senior Executive Cloud & DevOps Engineer plays a key support role in managing cloud infrastructure and automating software delivery pipelines. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, this position involves assisting in the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud systems. The ideal candidate has a foundational understanding of major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), basic scripting capabilities, and a strong interest in DevOps tools and practices. This role also includes supporting the deployment, configuration, and scaling of SaaS platforms. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone passionate about automation, cloud computing, and the continuous improvement of development and operations workflows. Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities Support the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Ability to build automated pipelines for code integration, testing, and deployment, significantly improving software delivery speed and reliability. Assist in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps. Support containerized environments using Docker and basic Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE). Monitor systems and applications using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog. Write and maintain automation scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Collaborate with developers, testers, and operations teams to streamline deployments and troubleshoot issues. Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with both internal teams and external vendors. Ability to document requirements and technical processes clearly and professionally. Working knowledge of software applications, system integration principles, and validation/testing practices. Analytical mindset with a keen eye for reviewing technical implementations and designs. Interest or background in user interface (UI/UX) design is an added advantage. Assist in ensuring security, compliance, and backup strategies in cloud environments. Interest or experience with containers (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes). Awareness of networking fundamentals , cloud security principles , and monitoring tools . Experience working with SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, custom internal tools) to support user-specific configuration, integrations, or deployment pipelines. Qualification & Experience Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience 2+ years of experience in a DevOps, cloud engineering, or system administration role (internships or academic projects are valuable). Hands-on experience (even in labs or personal projects) with cloud services and automation tools is highly desirable. Preferred Certifications (not mandatory but a plus) AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Associate. Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or Azure Administrator Associate. Google Cloud Digital Leader.
