Kingfisher Telecoms is a dynamic telecoms provider partnered with BT and EE in the UK, specializing in SIM cards, broadband, leased lines, and Vo IP phone services. We focus on delivering cutting-edge telecom solutions to businesses across the UK and USA.
Our Gurgaon office serves as the central hub for our UK and USA operations, leveraging the cost-effective, highly skilled workforce to build and execute sales strategies that outpace our Western competitors.
We operate out of a five-acre plot in Gurgaon, which will be transformed into a state-of-the-art IT business center within the next year. This development will include advanced facilities and telecom services, further positioning Kingfisher Telecoms as an industry leader.
The Head of Field Sales will report directly to the CEO, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic vision and goals while spearheading the expansion efforts.
Role Overview
The Head of Field Sales will play a critical role in building and managing a high-energy sales team, strategizing and executing a game plan to target UK and USA businesses and international migrants effectively.
This is a hands-on role requiring expertise in telecom sales, leadership, and rapid execution. The ideal candidate will have experience selling broadband, leased lines, Vo IP services, and SIM cards and a proven track record of building and training high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development and Execution:
• Design and implement a scalable sales strategy targeting:
• B2 B businesses on the outskirts of major UK and USA cities (e.g., manufacturing hubs and business districts).
• International migrants moving to the UK and USA for work, education, or family.
• Leverage the cost-effectiveness and motivation of the workforce to compete against Western competitors.
• Plan and execute campaigns to promote telecom services such as SIM cards, broadband, leased lines, and Vo IP.
Team Building and Leadership:
• Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing telesales and field sales team in Gurgaon.
• Instill a high-energy, positive culture focused on rapid results and continuous improvement.
• Provide ongoing coaching and development to ensure team success.
Sales and Market Expansion:
• Drive sales efforts in the UK and USA, utilizing the Gurgaon-based workforce to manage outbound sales calls, customer onboarding, and service follow-ups.
• Develop cost-effective strategies to deploy salespeople to the UK and USA as needed.
• Test and refine approaches to maximize revenue and build long-term customer relationships.
Targeted Customer Segments:
• B2 B Focus: Engage with businesses on the outskirts of UK and USA cities, particularly manufacturing hubs and small to medium enterprises.
• International Migrants: Design tailored offerings for migrants moving to the UK and USA, such as SIM cards and bundled telecom solutions.
Technology and Infrastructure Development:
• Collaborate with the team to integrate Kingfisher Telecoms services into future IT business center developments on company-owned land in Gurgaon.
• Explore opportunities to deploy telecom technology within India-based offices and buildings.
Who You Are
We are looking for a high-energy leader with:
• Experience: • 8+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on telecom products such as broadband, SIM cards, leased lines, or Vo IP services.
• Proven ability to build and manage high-performing sales teams.
• Experience targeting B2 B markets in the UK and USA is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with selling to international migrant demographics is a plus.
