Position: Manager / Assistant Manager – EventsRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced and proactive Assistant Manager – Events to plan, manage, and execute a wide range of high-impact corporate events — from large-scale conferences and partner summits to employee engagements, roundtables, and special initiatives.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing international events and a strong background in B2B marketing, with the ability to align event strategy to business goals and deliver exceptional audience experiences.Educational Qualification- Graduate or Master’s degree in Event Management or MBA (preferred)Work Experience- Up to 5 to 8 years of experience in Marketing, Events, or Media, with proven exposure to international events and B2B marketing environmentsKey Responsibilities- Interpret stakeholder requirements and translate briefs into actionable and comprehensive event plans.- Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring delivery within defined timelines and budgets.- Manage internal and external resources, vendors, and partners to ensure smooth event execution.- Collaborate with product, marketing, and business teams to conceptualize event themes, content, and collaterals aligned with business objectives.- Maintain quality standards across all aspects of event management — from design and production to attendee engagement.- Partner with Digital Marketing, Inside Sales, and Tele calling teams to drive event promotions, registrations, and engagement.- Prepare and manage project timelines, checklists, and progress trackers, ensuring milestones are met.- Oversee budget planning and cost control, working closely with product marketing managers.- Contribute creative ideas for event experiences, formats, and innovations in collaboration with the Creative and Product Marketing teams.- Independently manage both domestic and international events, ensuring exceptional execution and stakeholder satisfaction.Desired Skills & Competencies- Proven experience managing international and B2B marketing events- Strong verbal and written communication skills- Expertise in project planning, budgeting, and end-to-end execution- Strong stakeholder management and vendor coordination skills- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities- Creative, detail-oriented, and results-driven approach- In-depth industry knowledge of event management and corporate marketing practices
