Our office in India, G D S ME Computer Systems India Pvt Ltd , the exclusive Distributor of Prokon in India is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accountant with a strong background in Finance & well versed with Indian tax/finance policies . The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in accounting, preferably in an IT or start-up environment.Department: Finance & AdministrationReports To: Finance ManagerPosition Overview:We are looking for a Senior Accountant & Admin to manage the company’s financial operations and ensure statutory compliance in a fast-paced IT start-up environment. The role primarily focuses on accounting, taxation, and financial reporting, with limited administrative responsibilities such as vendor coordination and basic office management.Key Responsibilities:Accounting & Finance• Handle day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, invoices, and reconciliations.• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and vendor payments.• Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records.• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, PF, and Income Tax regulations.• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and banks.• Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking.• Process monthly payroll and handle employee reimbursements.• Prepare and submit required statutory filings and financial reports.Administrative (Limited Scope)• Manage vendor agreements, office utilities, and basic procurement.• Maintain employee attendance and leave records.• Coordinate with service providers and vendors for smooth office operations.• Support HR with onboarding documentation and basic admin tasks.Qualifications & Skills:• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (e.g., B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance).• Experience: 4–7 years of experience in Accounting, preferably in an IT or start-up environment.Technical Skills:• Proficiency in Tally ERP / Zoho Books / QuickBooks• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.• Hands on Excel and financial reporting skills.Soft Skills:• Detail-oriented and highly organized.• Ability to work independently in a start-up setup.• Strong communication and coordination abilities.• Time management and adaptability to dynamic work environments.Employment Type:Full-timeWork Mode:On SiteHow to Apply:Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and a cover letter detailing their experience and qualifications related to the role to D S ME Computer Systems India Pvt Ltd is an equal opportunity employer.
