Job Description: HR Head

Position Overview:

The HR Head will lead and manage the Human Resources department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role emphasizes employee training and development, compliance with labor laws, employee retention, and fostering a productive and engaging work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Training and Development:

  • Design and implement training programs for employees, focusing on financial products and industry-specific skills.
  • Regularly assess training needs and develop tailored learning solutions to enhance employee knowledge and productivity.
  • Promote continuous learning to stay updated with evolving financial markets and trends.

Employee Guidance and Support:

  • Serve as a mentor and guide to employees, offering career development and growth opportunities.
  • Provide coaching and support for improved performance and productivity.
  • Ensure employees understand organizational goals and how their roles contribute to success.

Labor Law Compliance:

  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with labor laws and industry regulations.
  • Oversee employee contracts, workplace safety, and grievance redressal processes.
  • Manage statutory requirements, audits, and documentation.

Employee Retention and Engagement:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct regular feedback sessions, surveys, and engagement activities.
  • Address attrition risks through proactive intervention and employee support programs.

HR Operations and Strategy:

  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning to meet organizational goals.
  • Develop and monitor HR metrics to assess organizational health and performance.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategy with business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • MBA in HR or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs, especially in financial products or services.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to manage teams effectively.
  • A strategic mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Prior experience in the financial services or related industry is preferred.
