Job Overview:
As an Accounts Executive at Qaadu, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial transactions and accounting activities of the company. The primary responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain and update accurate financial records using accounting software.
- Record all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
- E-commerce Platform Integration: Monitor sales and transactions across multiple online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.) and reconcile with internal systems.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process invoices and payments, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of funds.
- Monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of payments.
- Bank Reconciliation:
- Reconcile bank statements regularly to verify the accuracy of financial transactions.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to assist in decision-making processes.
- Tax Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Budget Management:
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
- Analyze budget variances and provide explanations as needed.
- Audit Support:
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
- Provide necessary documentation and explanations as required.
- Vendor Management:
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment and invoicing issues.
- Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers to optimize cash flow.
- Financial Policies and Procedures:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments to obtain relevant financial information and support organizational goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Expert in Tally & MS Office
- Proven experience as an Accounts Executive or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
