POSITION SUMMARY:

Oversees all HR operations and ensure policies and procedures are followed in accordance with the resort standard and procedures and to ensure that staffing needs are met in a timely manner, from placing ads to interviewing and hiring.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate employee life cycle from sourcing of candidate, recruitment, joining and exit formalities.
  • Implement effective sourcing, screening and interviewing techniques
  • Assists with the organization of the staff social events.
  • Compiling of daily attendance for payroll and maintaining Absence data.
  • Coordinating HR Dashboard / Statistics.
  • Assist and resolve employees queries and grievances.
  • Updating salary and benefits information.
  • Developing job descriptions, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates, preparing personal files of the colleagues.
  • Developing policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management.
  • Helps employees identify specific behaviours that will contribute to service excellence.
  • Responsible for the on the job orientation for new hires.
  • Manage HR administration such as starters and leavers process.
  • Complete Daily, monthly and fortnightly MIS reports.
  • Ensure up to date and accurate information is maintained for all the employees.
  • Assist with employee relation issues in the resort in a confidential manner, including disciplinarians, grievance and capability.
  • Ensure recruitment and selection process is adhered to as per the resort polies and procedures.
  • Maintaining of employee leave management.
  • Maintenance of HR email account and ensures prompt response.
  • Analyze staff turnover and sick leave with the aim of implementing strategies for reduction.
  • Assists the HR manager in Budget preparation where required and is fully aware of all Budgeted Positions and hiring approvals.
  • Drive employee engagement activities of the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all HR legislation and keep up to date with changes to local authorities.
  • Ensures confidentiality is maintained at all times and provides information only to those with a need to know.
  • Ensure timely compliance of statutory returns such as EPF, ESI etc.

DESIRED PROFILE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years of working experience as an HR Executive or HR Generalist profile in similar role in the Human Resources department.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the HR cycle.
  • Sound knowledge in Human Resource Statutory.
  • Confidence in working independently and part of a team.
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills including the ability to prepare reports, proposals, policies and procedure.
  • Should be well versed with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint presentation.
