R&D Associate, Novasensa Hands-on experience in wet chemistry (e.g., Obsession with scientific problem-solving and continuous process improvement ✅ Familiarity with hydrometallurgy and literature in the field PhD/Postdoc candidates from unrelated backgrounds (e.g., polymers, biology, computational fields) ❌ Candidates without wet lab experience ❌ Those looking for an “exposure” role or a remote/comfortable job ❌ Candidates applying solely to negotiate a higher salary elsewhere ❌ You will be part of Novasensa’s core R&D team, actively contributing to the development and optimization of cutting-edge hydrometallurgical processes for battery and e-waste recycling. Recording and analyzing experimental data for process improvement Developing SOPs and troubleshooting process issues using scientific literature Collaborating across teams for procurement, documentation, reporting, and vendor outreach As an early-stage startup, team members must be ready to wear many hats and contribute wherever needed, from R&D to operations, business development, GTM execution, from documentation to outreach. B.Tech / M.Sc in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, Materials Science, or Chemistry ~1–6 years of hands-on lab experience in process chemistry or metallurgical R&D ~ Proven execution of at least one multi-step wet chemistry project ~ Gain experience building India’s first commercial hydrometallurgical battery recycling plant Opportunity to transition into leadership roles in pilot plant, process engineering, or commercialization This is more than just a job—it is an opportunity to work on world-class technologies at the forefront of battery and e-waste recycling.
