Position Summary:

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for managing and enhancing the brand’s social media presence across multiple platforms. This role includes creating, curating, and editing engaging content that resonates with audiences, fosters community engagement, and builds brand awareness. The Social Media Specialist will oversee communications, create compelling narratives, and stay updated on industry trends to maintain a strong, positive brand presence on social media.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, create, edit, and schedule daily social media posts, stories, and reels that align with the brand’s messaging and goals.
  • Engage with the audience and foster community interaction through various initiatives, responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
  • Monitor social media metrics and analyze engagement data to optimize strategies and improve campaign performance.
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers, brief them on brand guidelines, and work together to create engaging, on-brand content.
  • Post content across platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest, ensuring consistency with the brand’s voice and objectives.
  • Stay updated on the latest social media trends and best practices, applying them to improve content quality, engagement, and reach.
  • Use social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.) to schedule content, track performance, and optimize engagement strategies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in editing reels and creating basic graphics using tools such as Canva, Photoshop, CapCut, or Adobe.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
  • Experience with social media management tools and analytics.
  • Creative thinking with a passion for storytelling and crafting engaging content.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
