Sales Account Manager

We are seeking an accomplished Sales Account Manager for the North Region, based in Noida, with an experience of CAE sales to drive growth for the ANSYS Momentum business. This role involves managing key accounts and expanding new business by integrating ANSYS engineering simulation solutions into customers’ engineering workflows. The Sales Account Manager will own the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial engagement through to closure, within an assigned territory and/or specific named accounts.
NOTE: Candidates from similar industry and relevant experience only will be considered.
Essential Functions
- Account Growth & Relationship Management: Strategically manage and expand existing accounts by identifying upsell opportunities and strengthening customer relationships.
- Sales Targets & Forecasting: Consistently achieve quarterly and annual sales targets, with responsibility for accurate and timely sales forecasts.
- Pipeline Development & Sales Advancement: Build, manage, and advance the sales pipeline through each stage, progressing opportunities to closure.
- Sales Presentations & Deal Negotiation: Conduct in-person product presentations alongside the application engineering team to demonstrate ANSYS simulation software, prepare quotes, negotiate terms, and secure purchase orders and contracts.
- Pipeline & Opportunity Management: Regularly update and maintain pipeline and forecast data with a disciplined approach to opportunity, account, and contact management.
- Inside Sales Collaboration: Manage regional Inside Sales Representative to drive lead generation in alignment with defined strategies.
- Relationship Building Across Customer Hierarchies: Engage with various levels and departments within customer organizations to understand their needs, address barriers to simulation adoption, and identify improvement opportunities in engineering processes.
- Partnership Management: Collaborate with regional partners to strengthen and maintain existing business relationships.
Required Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in technical (Mechanical)
- At least 3-5 year of sales experience in CAD/CAE industry - (MUST HAVE)
- Strong work ethic, and motivated to work in a high performing, result oriented environment
- Should be willing to travel and meet customers along with technical application engineer.

- Customer facing activities will be necessary to be successful in this role, which may require travel
- Ability to gain and utilize the understanding of both engineering and physics applications
- Stay up-to- date on emerging technologies, engineering techniques and product development trends
- Internal drive and motivation to meet established goals related to activity levels
- Ability to coordinate and work independently
