The Associate Vice President of Payroll is designed to manage the day-to-day activities in the organization’s client facing payroll function. This position will oversee our growing team of Payroll Managers and Supervisors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee the payroll managers of a specified region within our nationwide organization
Responsible for formulating and implementing strategies and policies related to the payroll function
Assist with payroll software training, review forms and SOPs with division partners
As an AVP, this position is designed to support, communicate and train employees within the department
Work with other department leadership, new clients, mentor and develop payroll managers
Travel Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Time management
Decision making skills
Must display leadership qualities.
Ability to efficiently organize work activities to meet daily and weekly deadlines.
Ability to multi-task with a strong attention to detail
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Intermediate to strong skills in MS Office, including Excel and Outlook
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
4+ Payroll experience
4+ Experience Management experience
4+ in the PEO Industry
Required Licenses And/Or Certifications
CPP required for this position
