Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Azure DevOps & Azure Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in optimizing cloud infrastructure and driving automation processes across our Azure environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud solutions, ensuring seamless CI/CD pipeline integrations and high availability for our applications and services


Key Responsibilities:


Azure Cloud Management:

  • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including virtual networks, storage, compute resources, and security configurations.
  • Design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure solutions on Azure.
  • Optimize cloud resources and monitor usage to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Deploy and manage applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Services.


DevOps Implementation:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Automate the deployment, configuration, and scaling of applications and infrastructure.
  • Integrate source control systems, build pipelines, and release management processes.
  • Continuously improve build and release processes to enable faster delivery and higher quality releases.


Collaboration & Support:

  • Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure that the deployment processes are streamlined and secure.
  • Provide ongoing support for Azure-based infrastructure and applications, resolving issues and ensuring system availability.
  • Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies for cloud environments.


Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Monitor Azure resources and applications for performance, security, and reliability.
  • Create and maintain automated monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health of systems.
  • Generate reports on performance metrics and suggest improvements.


Security and Compliance:

  • Implement Azure security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, and data encryption.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards (such as GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) for cloud deployments.


Documentation:

  • Document infrastructure and deployment processes for team knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.
  • Write clear and concise runbooks and troubleshooting guides.


Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform and DevOps practices.
  • Proven experience in managing cloud infrastructure using Azure services (e.g., Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Kubernetes Services).
  • Solid understanding and experience of DevOps tools, including Azure DevOps, Git, and Docker.



Skills

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
