Job Description:
We are looking for experienced Supervisor/Foreman - Rigging professionals to oversee rigging and lifting operations during shutdown/turnaround projects for a leading oil & gas company in the UAE. The role involves ensuring the safe and efficient execution of rigging tasks while maintaining compliance with HSE standards.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and supervise rigging and lifting operations during shutdown and turnaround projects.
- Inspect, assemble, and install rigging equipment, ensuring all equipment meets safety and operational standards.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure rigging activities are carried out efficiently and safely.
- Conduct regular inspections of rigging gear and tools to identify and rectify potential safety hazards.
- Ensure compliance with company and client HSE policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and training to rigging teams to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of rigging activities, inspections, and certifications.
- Troubleshoot rigging challenges and develop effective solutions to ensure project timelines are met.
- Work effectively under pressure to meet project deadlines during shutdowns.
Requirements :
- Any technical qualification or Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in a relevant field.
- 5–10 years of experience in rigging and lifting operations, specifically in shutdown/turnaround projects.
- Valid Rigging Certification is mandatory.
- Strong technical knowledge of rigging equipment and procedures.
- Solid understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols.
- Ability to lead and manage teams effectively under high-pressure conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with diverse teams.
