Position: HVAC BIM Engineer

Location: Bangalore



Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC BIM Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, coordinating, and maintaining HVAC models using Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, construction processes, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams to deliver high-quality designs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage HVAC models in BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other trade professionals to ensure model accuracy and coordination.
  • Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between different building systems.
  • Generate detailed drawings and fabrication models for HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and equipment layouts.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Maintain BIM libraries and templates for HVAC components.
  • Support the project team by providing technical expertise and model updates.
  • Prepare and present reports on model progress, clashes, and resolutions.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to the decision-making process.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Design, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in HVAC modeling, preferably in a BIM environment.


What we expect :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering or related field.
  • 2 to 3 years of professional experience in HVAC system drafting/Modelling. Experience in LOD of 350 -500
  • Experience in Commercial/ Corporate fitout projects
  • Good knowledge of Revit , Autocad & Navisworks
