About the Role We're seeking a motivated and analytical Data Analytics Intern to join our growing team in Mumbai . This is a 6-month full-time internship with the potential for conversion to a full-time role based on individual and company performance. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to transform data into actionable insights that drive business decisions in the fast-paced healthcare and e-commerce space. Data Cleaning & Preparation: Clean, validate, and prepare large datasets from multiple sources (retail stores, e-commerce platform, inventory systems) to ensure data quality and integrity. Ad-hoc Analysis: Respond to business queries by conducting exploratory data analysis and presenting findings to stakeholders across operations, marketing, and supply chain teams. Build and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau to track key business metrics such as sales performance, inventory levels, customer behavior, and operational efficiency. Project Support: Collaborate with product, operations, and business teams on specific projects to provide data-driven recommendations. Automation: Identify repetitive tasks and build automated solutions using Python and SQL to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc./B.Tech/B.E.) Strong foundation in mathematics and statistics Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation Working knowledge of Python (pandas, numpy, matplotlib/seaborn) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) Experience with Tableau or willingness to learn quickly Excellent communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders Prior internship or project experience in data analytics Understanding of basic statistical concepts and A/B testing Experience with data automation and scripting Real-world application of data analytics in a high-growth healthcare startup Experience working with large-scale retail and e-commerce datasets Building production-grade dashboards and automated reporting systems Business acumen in the pharmacy and healthcare sector Location: Mumbai (Hybrid model) Duration: 6 months full-time internship Conversion: Opportunity for full-time employment based on performance SQL: Proficiency in writing complex queries, joins, subqueries, and data manipulation (SELECT, WHERE, GROUP BY, HAVING, etc.) Python: Working knowledge of Python for data analysis including: Data manipulation libraries (pandas, numpy) Data visualization libraries (matplotlib, seaborn) Microsoft Excel: Data cleaning and transformation Tableau: Data Cleaning: Experience with data validation, handling missing values, outlier detection, and data transformation
