Job Title: Big Data testing

Location: Bangalore BCIT/Pune


Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Quality Engineer with a strong background in big data and ETL testing to ensure the integrity, reliability, and performance of our data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive test plans and cases for ETL processes and big data solutions.

• Execute functional, system, and regression tests to validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

• Carry out BI report testing to ensure data visualization accuracy and functionality.

• Analyze test results, document software defects, and report them to the development team.

• Maintain meticulous records of test execution and defect tracking to support continuous integration and delivery processes.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within an Agile framework to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Must have experience with Selenium for Test Automation

• Prefer candidates with experience in Java, BDD, Cucumber, Team City, Jenkins, CI/CD, Automation tools, ARD (agile requirements designer) tool, Maven

• FinCrime or payments domain knowledge

• Proven experience in ETL and Big Data testing environments.

• Familiarity variety of testing types such as UI, Manual/Functional, and BI Report testing.

• Exceptional analytical skills for effective defect identification and problem-solving.

• Proficiency in maintaining execution trackers and defect tracking systems.

• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and the defect management lifecycle.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear documentation and team collaboration.

• A proactive approach to testing with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
