Our client is a reputed international fully digitized trade finance platform that brings businesses requiring supply chain financing with investors who invest in trade finance assets as an alternative asset class. They are looking for a seasoned professional for the role of The Director of Operations and Process Re-engineering.


Job Description


Role summary:


The Director of Operations and Process Re-engineering will lead the strategic and operational management of trade and payment operations. This role involves executing a significant process re-engineering effort to achieve a measurable change to the organisation optimizing processes through Lean Six Sigma methodologies and enhancing efficiency. The ideal candidate will drive innovation and ensure the seamless execution of operations to support the

company's growth objectives.



Responsibilities:

  • To challenge the business and use all the available re-engineering levers and provide timely reports on process re-engineering project / program status, risks and issues, evaluating performance based on
  • management information.
  • Lead process design activities and provides high-level strategic steer on design.
  • Operate at a management level, working across the global business and regions to oversee daily operations of trade and payment processes.
  • Implement process re-engineering initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and develop and monitor key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead and mentor a team of professionals in achieving departmental goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with business strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.


Role specific technical competencies:

  • Should be having overall 14+ years of work experience with a minimum of 8+ years in end-to-end process re-engineering, business or process transformation, process consulting and business consulting in a global banking environment.

  • Should have good understanding and work experience in a global BFSI environment.
  • Should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to steer strong stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Qualifications (training, licences, memberships and certifications): Lean Six Sigma certification and proficiency in process management tools and software, and familiarity with trade finance platforms and technologies.
