You are Responsible for
You will be responding to lead of team of 5 to 7 people.
This will involve taking ownership of all OKR deliverables, business and tech metrics along with people management and their performance evaluation.
Implement rigorous experimentation frameworks to evaluate and iterate on search algorithms, leveraging data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in search and information retrieval to drive continuous innovation within Flipkart.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
To succeed in this role – you should have the following
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Proven experience in leading and managing teams of engineers in a large-scale consumer-facing environment.
Having a track record of delivering large projects
Excellent tech skils and exposure to multiple programming languages like Java, Scala, Python and distributed databases like Elastic Search, Redis, Aerospike, Mysql, Kafka
Strong experience in Backend design & Architecture.
Exposure to Agile methodologies
