Regional sales manager

The Regional Manager for Institutional Sales is a proactive, results-driven leader responsible for expanding sales within educational institutions (Schools, Colleges, and Universities), government sectors, and other institutional clients . This role demands a strategic approach and experience in B2 B sales, with an emphasis on relationship management and team leadership to achieve substantial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase market presence within the assigned region.
- Establish and nurture strong connections with key institutional clients and government officials.
- Manage and forecast sales pipelines to ensure timely closures, consistently surpassing sales objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities and implement strategies for new customer acquisition.
- Conduct product presentations and lead negotiations to secure beneficial contracts.
- Oversee order fulfillment, ensuring on-time delivery and client satisfaction.
- Analyze sales data and market dynamics to refine sales strategies and capitalize on trends.
- Prepare detailed sales reports to monitor achievements and identify growth areas.
- Collaborate across departments, including marketing, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the market landscape and leverage insights to counter competitive activities.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, from RFP responses and bidding to contract finalization, adhering to government procurement standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in B2 B sales, particularly within the institutional sector.
- Demonstrated success in exceeding sales goals and driving business growth.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Strong leadership and relationship-building skills with a strategic mindset.
