Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant to implement Odoo modules (Inventory, Accounting, CRM, Sales, Purchase, HR, Manufacturing, Project Management) and provide end-to-end implementation, configuration, client training and support.

 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Gather and understand client requirements, providing functional consulting and support for existing Odoo apps.


  • Provide functional support across interconnected Odoo modules, including CRM, Sales, Purchases, Warehouse, Accounting, MRP, Massmail, Contact, Subscription, Helpdesk, PLM, Fleet Management, Website E-commerce, HR, Timesheets, Payroll, Expenses, Events, POS, Survey, Recruitment, Leaves, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Project Management, and Cost & Revenue tracking.


  • Hands-on experience with Odoo versions v9 to v18 (Community and Enterprise Editions).


  • Conduct white-box testing on Odoo Python code and perform functional testing, security testing, and regression testing.


  • Review and provide feedback on Odoo Python, XML, and CSV files, ensuring adherence to best practices for the MVC structure.


  • Manage Odoo server setup, including creation of new ports and SSL configuration files (.conf).


  • Utilize GitHub and Bitbucket for code management, reviews, and version control (push/pull operations).


  • Conduct data import/export operations as part of system integration.


  • Ensure timely delivery of projects to clients while adhering to project timelines and quality standards.


Required Skills:

  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and E-Commerce platforms, particularly in Odoo.
  • Well-versed in configuring access rights, record rules, and security for all ERP modules, especially accounting reports.
  • Experience in all aspects of functional testing, including testing for various ERP modules.
  • Strong expertise in PostgreSQL queries, database management, and handling multi-company setups in Odoo.
