Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced FastAPI Developer with 5+ years of expertise in backend development. As a key member of our engineering team, you will design, build, and maintain APIs and microservices using FastAPI . Your role will involve creating scalable, secure, and high-performance applications while ensuring seamless integration with front-end systems and third-party services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, test, and deploy RESTful APIs and microservices using FastAPI .
• Design and implement asynchronous solutions for high-performance API endpoints.
• Ensure the scalability and security of APIs by adhering to industry best practices.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Integrate third-party APIs and services seamlessly into existing systems.
• Optimize API performance using asynchronous programming and caching mechanisms.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to manage CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure API reliability and robustness.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Stay updated on the latest FastAPI and Python features and technologies.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in Python backend development, with a focus on FastAPI for at least 2 years.
• Strong understanding of Python asynchronous programming (e.g., async/await).
• Hands-on experience with API design, implementation, and documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger).
• Proficient with database design and query optimization (e.g., SQLAlchemy, Alembic).
• Experience with authentication and authorization protocols (e.g., OAuth2, JWT).
• Familiarity with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka is a plus.
• Knowledge of deploying and managing FastAPI applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent knowledge of RESTful API principles and best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with serverless architecture using FastAPI.
• Experience with GraphQL (optional).
• Knowledge of front-end integration and cross-origin resource sharing (CORS).
Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
