Quality Assurance Project Manager

The main tasks include testing systems and procedures to ensure they meet technical standards and creating quality and safety documentation. Responsible for identifying technical issues and getting to the root of the problem, too. They also proactively recommend solutions that improve product durability and overall performance.
Responsibilities:
1. Development & implementation of QMS (Quality Management Systems) at site.
2. Prepare Project specific Inspection budget for concerned stream & ensure completion of all Inspection activities within approved amount.
3. To review Process Data Sheet, Mechanical Data Sheet, Drawings, Vendors Inspection Test Plan etc. with respect to quality requirements & ensure its compliance at site.
4. Coordinate with contractor/Vendor/TPIA for Inspection & as required coordination with Engineering Team, Vendor & Engineering Consultants to resolve the issue.
5. Develop and execute Quality Plans, Programs, Procedures & Tools to manage Construction Quality at site for concerned stream.
6. Carry out audits & follow-up for closure of findings, handle NCR Management.
7. Work with Quality team to optimize Quality cost-to-company.
8. To provide support to Vendor Development Team for Contractor Qualification Audit.
9. Responsible for troubleshooting of any quality related problems & Surveillance visits at site for Quality improvement.
10. Preparation & Implementation of Project Specific Construction Quality Plan as per QMS requirement & document Package for concerned stream.
11. Lead and guide the Contractors for Quality Assurance and Control Activities at site through a team of Quality Managers/ Engineers.
12. Provide mentorship to team members to ensure that QA plans are consistent with all aspects of the Project Quality Plan.
Education Qualification:
· B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from reputed AICTE Approved Institutions having NBA Accredited Courses / UGC recognised Universities.
Experience:
· 15-20 years of experience in Chemical/ Petrochemical/ Oil and Gas industries projects
Technical Competencies/Skills:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and sketches.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Extensive knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn production processes.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and customer support.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, and other related software.
