We're seeking a talented and creative YouTube Script Writer to join our team and help bring our video ideas to life with compelling, well-researched scripts.
Job Description:
As a YouTube Script Writer, you will be responsible for writing scripts that are informative, engaging, and tailored for the YouTube platform. You’ll collaborate closely with our video production team to craft scripts that not only entertain but also drive audience engagement, from the first second to the last.
Responsibilities:
Write clear, concise, and engaging scripts for YouTube videos based on given topics, themes, and video formats.
Conduct thorough research on video subjects to ensure accuracy and depth of information.
Tailor writing style and tone to fit the target audience and channel’s brand voice.
Work with the video production team to adjust scripts as needed to fit video length, style, and objectives.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, YouTube best practices, and audience preferences to ensure scripts are timely and relevant.
Revise scripts based on feedback from producers and directors to meet specific production needs.
Write attention-grabbing video titles, descriptions, and outlines that align with YouTube’s SEO best practices to increase video discoverability.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in scriptwriting, copywriting, or content creation, particularly for video platforms like YouTube.
Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different types of content.
Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
Understanding of YouTube trends, audience engagement, and SEO strategies.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with YouTube analytics and content optimization strategies is a plus.
Knowledge of video production processes is a bonus, but not required.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with specific niches (e.g., History, Geopolitics, Economics, Political Science, Indian politics , etc.).
Familiarity with YouTube analytics tools and SEO strategies for video content.
Creative and proactive approach to content development.
Experience in writing for a digital or online-first audience.
