About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Teradata Developer to join our team on a 6–8 month contractual engagement supporting our North American client. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Teradata development, advanced SQL expertise, and the ability to perform independent analysis and problem-solving.Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and optimize Teradata-based solutions using BTEQ, MLoad, FastLoad, and related utilities.- Write, debug, and tune complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.- Analyze business and data requirements, troubleshoot issues, and provide efficient technical solutions.- Work independently while collaborating with cross-functional and onshore teams to ensure timely delivery.- Participate in data validation, performance tuning, and process improvements.Required Skills and Experience- Minimum 5 years of experience in Teradata development.- Strong SQL programming and optimization skills.- Hands-on experience with BTEQ, MLoad, FastLoad, and other Teradata utilities.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a global environmentPreferred Skills (Nice to Have)- Experience with AutoSys job scheduling.- Exposure to Google BigQuery or other cloud data platforms.Additional Information- Immediate joiners will be given preference.- This is a contract role (6–8 months) with potential for extension based on project needs.To apply for a job: ,
