Established in 2007, Brickwork Ratings, a SEBI-registered and RBI-accredited credit rating agency, has Canara Bank, a leading public sector bank as its promoter and strategic partner.
BWR is headquartered in Bengaluru and has a pan-India presence. The rating team is headed by the analytical prowess of the industry’s most experienced credit analysts, bankers, and regulators.
BWR offers rating services to Bank Loans, NCD, Commercial papers, Bonds, Mutual Funds, PPMLDs, and Security Receipts. BWR’s ratings have rated over 100,000 large corporates, Banks, Financial Institutions, State and local Governments, and small businesses. BWR provides investors and lenders, with timely and in-depth research across structured finance, public finance, financial institutions, project finance, and corporate sectors.
Primary Responsibility
- Credit analysis of financial instruments in the BFSI sector for Securitized Transactions
- Financial analysis and ability to make financial projections, of the financial instruments
- Analytical rigor in the presentations to the rating committees
- Maintain excellent quality in the analysis and to be up-to-date on the market/industry information and suitable and need-based rating actions
- Interact with company management, auditors, bankers, and other lenders and visit companies and factories as part of regular monitoring and data gathering.
- To take ownership of the folio by carrying out regular surveillance, monitoring, and reviews every quarter/ material event basis, tracking the performance of the companies concerning macroeconomic changes, and handling internal and external audit queries.
- Strictly adhere to standard operating procedures, regulations and policies.
- Adept in meeting tight deadlines with no compromise on analytical quality
- Client interaction and managing good relations
Competency / Skills
- Analytical expertise in the Securitized Transactions segment including financial modeling, ratio analysis, and industry knowledge.
- Updated with the latest regulatory guidelines and circulars, especially in Structured Finance Products.
- Excellent verbal / written communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency: Strong domain knowledge in credit assessment in the BFSI sector - Securitization
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and presentation skills to present the facts along with rating recommendations to the rating committees.
Proficiency: Strong domain knowledge in credit assessment in the large corporate sectors / BFSI sector
Experience: 5 to 8 years of work experience in credit rating of corporates
Location Preference: Mumbai, Bangalore
