We’re looking for an E-Commerce Manager to join us and manage our omnichannel e-commerce operations.

Responsibilities:

The role of an E-Commerce Manager for handling an omnichannel website is multifaceted, requiring expertise across various domains. Below are the key job responsibilities and expectations:

1. Website Management
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopify, Magento).
  • Ensure the website is optimized for a seamless shopping experience across all devices and channels.
  • Coordinate with developers for bug fixes, feature updates, and implementing new functionalities.
2. Product Management
  • Upload, update, and maintain accurate product listings, descriptions, and images.
  • Use SEO best practices to optimize product keywords for better search engine ranking.
  • Manage inventory levels across channels to avoid stockouts or overselling.
3. Content Creation
  • Develop content for product descriptions, landing pages, and blog posts to engage customers.
  • Design visuals and creatives using tools like Canva for banners, ads, and promotional campaigns.
4. Order Fulfillment
  • Handle the end-to-end order process: confirmation, packing, dispatch, and tracking.
  • Ensure timely coordination with logistics partners for smooth delivery.
  • Monitor and resolve order-related customer issues.
5. Customer Service & Engagement
  • Respond to customer queries across all channels (email, chat, social media).
  • Implement and manage a feedback loop to enhance the customer experience.
  • Monitor and resolve disputes or returns while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
6. Marketing & Promotions
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns for special occasions and sales events.
  • Work with digital marketing teams to align e-commerce strategies with PPC, SEO, and social media efforts.
  • Analyze promotional success and adjust strategies to maximize ROI.
7. Analytics & Reporting
  • Use tools like Google Analytics, Shopify analytics, and other dashboards to monitor traffic, conversion rates, and sales trends.
  • Prepare detailed reports to evaluate performance and suggest improvements.
  • Use insights to refine pricing, promotions, and customer engagement strategies.
8. Payment Gateway & Reconciliation
  • Ensure smooth functioning of payment gateways.
  • Reconcile transactions to avoid discrepancies and ensure all payments are accounted for.
9. Quality Control
  • Maintain quality standards for product listings, images, and website content.
  • Test the website regularly to ensure it’s free of errors or glitches.
10. Coordination & Teamwork
  • Collaborate with developers, marketing teams, designers, and logistics partners.
  • Ensure all channels (website, apps, physical stores) provide a consistent customer experience.
  • Streamline communication between different departments to handle omnichannel challenges.
Skills Required
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms like Shopify,
  • Listing of Products in Shopify platform,
  • Graphic design skills using Canva or Adobe tools.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving ability to manage multi-channel complexities effectively.
  • Graduate with 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with a D2C brand.
  • Looking for a Candidate from Bengaluru only.

This role requires adaptability and a proactive mindset to ensure smooth, scalable e-commerce operations while meeting customer expectations.
