Job Description
Kautilya School of Public Policy is looking to hire a self-starting, motivated individual as a Placement and Program Associate. The suitable candidate will believe in Kautilya’s mission of creating an inclusive public policy ecosystem. The Placement and Program Associate will largely deal with the data. We are seeking an organized and proactive professional with 1-3 years of experience to support the Career Fulfilment and Program Team. This role is key to coordinating placements, engaging with employers, conducting research, managing data, and tracking projects. The ideal candidate will play an essential part in facilitating successful placement activities and career development initiatives and support program team in smooth functioning of Learning management system for public policy students.
Qualification
v A Master’s degree in public policy or a Master’s degree in business management is preferred.
v Experience with public policy placements is a plus but not mandatory.
v Ability to deal with large datasets
v Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
v Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
v Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
v Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
v Proficiency with CRM systems and social media platforms.
v Ability to work independently.
v Must be a team player with a collaborative spirit and self-motivation to initiate and support hiring events
v Strong problem-solving abilities, networking, and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
v  Placement Coordination
· Build industry connections for student placements, organize interviews, and coordinate campus hiring.
· Track public policy job trends and share insights with placements and academics teams.
v  Employer and Academic Collaboration
· Cultivate relationships with employers and collaborate with academic departments to align placements with industry needs.
· Maintain updated records of employer contacts and student files.
v  Event Planning
· Assist in planning student events, workshops, and career sessions, handling logistics and scheduling.
v  Data Management and Reporting
· Keep organized placement records, compile reports, and track metrics using MS Office and CRM tools.
v  Outreach and Networking
· Identify new placement opportunities, expand industry connections, and represent the Career Fulfilment on social media.
v  Learning Management System (LMS)
· Manage and oversee the institution's Learning Management System (LMS) and related software, ensuring effective functionality for students, faculty, and teaching assistants
