Job Description:
Gopani Product Systems Private Limited is looking for an experienced Plant Accountant to manage and streamline financial operations at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory accounting: Recording of inventory movement along with production entries with coordination with production department
Cost Accounting : Oversee plant expenses, implement cost controls, monitor production costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Production Accounting : Process and manage production-related accounting entries.
Invoice Booking : Handle booking of sales and purchase invoices.
MIS Reporting : Prepare MIS reports for product costing, revenue, and capital expenses.
Tax Compliance : Basic knowledge of TDS/TCS and GST for compliance and returns.
Godown Transfer Entries : Record and manage godown transfers with accurate costing.
Inventory Evaluation : Validate daily inventory entries against physical production data.
Cash Management : Track and manage cash expenses for plant operations.
Process Improvement : Enhance accounting processes and introduce automation for efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
2-5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing setup.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
