Job Title: Infrastructure Automation Engineer
Location: Pune
Overview: This role focuses on automating, managing, and supporting our infrastructure to enhance scalability, reliability, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation tools like Ansible, proficiency in scripting (Python, Power Shell), and a solid background in infrastructure engineering.
Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and manage automation solutions using Ansible Tower/AWX, alongside tools like Git Hub, v RA/v RO. • Create, manage, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules for automating provisioning, configuration, and deployment. • Implement Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) to streamline deployment and reduce manual interventions. • Automate complex systems using Python, Power Shell, and Ansible to handle provisioning, orchestration, and monitoring tasks. • Maintain version control using Git Hub, manage workflows, and integrate with various external systems. • Improve operational efficiency by managing infrastructure components, ensuring adherence to security and compliance best practices. • Automate deployments, configurations, and health checks of infrastructure components across on-premise and cloud environments. • Collaborate with teams to share knowledge of automation best practices and technologies. • Implement strategies for effective monitoring, backup, and performance optimization. • Manage the provisioning and decommissioning of infrastructure resources. Required Skills: • Hands-on experience with Ansible, especially Ansible Tower/AWX. • Proficiency in Python and Power Shell for automation tasks and RESTful API integration. • Experience in Windows Infrastructure automation. • Strong version control experience using Git. • Familiarity with Dev Ops environments and scripting across various platforms (Bash, Python, Power Shell, Java Script). • Solid understanding of Unix and Windows platforms, with a focus on networking and security best practices. • Analytical problem-solving skills and strong communication. • Experience with Service Now and Azure Dev Ops (ADO).
Nice to Have: • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). • Familiarity with virtualization technologies and databases (RDBMS, No SQL). • Experience with application security and vulnerability management. • Exposure to sub-netting, software-defined networking, and load balancer technologies.
