About the Role
Teladoc Health is seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer with expertise in Ruby on Rails and React.js to join our growing team. As a key contributor, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable applications that impact millions of users worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge healthcare solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and make a real difference in people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain highly scalable, robust, and secure web applications using Ruby on Rails for the backend and React.js for the frontend.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and scalability.
Ensure high-quality code through best practices, including testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments.
Contribute to architectural decisions and technology selection.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team.
Required Qualifications
6+ years of experience as a Fullstack Developer or similar role.
Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and a strong understanding of backend architecture.
Hands-on experience with React.js and modern Java Script/Type Script frameworks.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience with database design and optimization (Postgre SQL, My SQL, etc.).
Familiarity with Dev Ops practices, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Graph QL.
Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Trello.
