Organizations can then shortlist candidates based on these credentials. Qualifications and Skills: 3+ years of experience in back-end development, with a strong focus on blockchain technology Proven track record of building and scaling decentralized applications (dApps) or blockchain-based products In-depth understanding of blockchain architectures, consensus mechanisms, and smart contract development Proficiency in programming languages such as Solidity, Rust, Go, or other relevant languages for blockchain development Familiarity with various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Polkadot, Cosmos, Solana) and their respective ecosystems Experience with decentralized storage solutions (e.g., IPFS, Filecoin) and decentralized identity protocols Strong knowledge of cryptocurrency wallets, token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721), and blockchain security best practices Familiarity with decentralized finance (DeFi) concepts is a plus Responsibilities: Design and develop the core back-end components of the Proof of Skill protocol, including smart contracts, blockchain integration, and off-chain services Implement secure and efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms for skill credentials and validator information Develop and integrate decentralized identity solutions for validators and candidates Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the protocol as it grows Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, UX designers, and product managers Stay up-to-date with the latest blockchain technology trends and advancements Contribute to the project's technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives Ideal Candidate Traits: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and collaboration skills Passion for decentralized technologies and their potential impact Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take ownership High agency and a drive for continuous learning and improvement If you have a deep understanding of blockchain technology and a passion for building innovative, decentralized solutions, we invite you to join our team and contribute to the future of skill verification and credentialing.
