Job Title: IP/MPLS Network Engineer
Location : Remote (Work from Home)

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced IP/MPLS Network Engineer to join our team. This is a remote position, and the successful candidate will have a solid background in Nokia devices , advanced IP/MPLS , and network protocols. The role requires hands-on experience with Nokia Service Routers (7750, 7705, 7250), deep knowledge of IP/MPLS technologies, and practical skills in Segment Routing and Linux.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex IP/MPLS networks.
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Nokia Service Routers (7750, 7705, 7250) in a production environment.
Work with Nokia CLI to configure and manage network devices.
Implement and maintain L2 VPN, L3 VPN , VRF , VPRN , and BGP in enterprise-level IP/MPLS networks.
Apply knowledge of BGP, OSPF, RIP, EIGRP, TCP/IP, and OSI Layers to optimize network performance.
Experience in Segment Routing implementation and troubleshooting.
Manage network configuration and monitoring tools (NSP/NMS) for Nokia devices.
Work with Linux-based platforms for Service Router (SR-L) management and troubleshooting.
Provide advanced support for network troubleshooting, issue resolution, and performance tuning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective network design and optimization.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Experience : 5-8 years in IP/MPLS network engineering with a focus on Nokia technologies.
Hands-on expertise with Service Routers : 7750, 7705, 7250.
Strong working knowledge of BGP, OSPF, RIP, EIGRP, TCP/IP and OSI layers.
In-depth knowledge of Advanced IP/MPLS technologies and hands-on experience with implementation.
Practical experience with L2 VPN , L3 VPN , VRF , VPRN , and BGP.
Proven ability to configure and troubleshoot Segment Routing.
Basic understanding of NSP/NMS (Network Service Provider/Network Management Systems).
Experience working in a Linux-based environment, especially with Service Routers (SR-L).
Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex network environments.
Additional Qualifications (Preferred):
Experience with advanced IP/MPLS service offerings.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills for documentation and collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
