Job Title: Cricket Coach (Preferably a Female coach)
Location: Bangalore North, Yelahanka
Job Type: Full-time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cricket Coach to lead, inspire, and develop a competitive cricket program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the game, excellent technical knowledge, and the ability to motivate players of various skill levels. The Cricket Coach will be responsible for planning and conducting practices, developing game strategies, and promoting a positive, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Development:
Design and implement a comprehensive training program for players of all skill levels.
Develop and manage team strategies and game plans for competitive play.
Provide leadership and set goals that align with the organization's vision for cricket excellence.
2. Player Development:
Evaluate players’ strengths, weaknesses, and progress, offering personalized feedback.
Teach and improve players' technical skills, such as batting, bowling, fielding, and fitness.
Foster sportsmanship, discipline, and a growth mindset in players.
3. Practice & Game Management:
Plan and conduct regular practice sessions with a focus on skill improvement, teamwork, and fitness.
Organize and manage game-day strategies, team selection, and player rotations.
Ensure player safety and manage any injuries or concerns during practices and games.
4. Team & Relationship Building:
Build a positive team culture and encourage respect, inclusivity, and mutual support among players.
Establish strong relationships with players, parents, staff, and other stakeholders.
Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding schedules, goals, and performance.
5. Administrative Duties:
Maintain records of player performance, attendance, and progression.
Coordinate logistics for matches, such as transportation, accommodations, and equipment.
Attend and contribute to meetings and events as required by the institution.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Cricket Coach at a competitive level.
Strong knowledge of the rules, techniques, and strategies of cricket.
Excellent interpersonal, motivational, and leadership skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with players, parents, and other stakeholders.
First Aid or CPR certification (preferred).
A female coach is preferred.
Key Skills and Attributes:
Deep understanding of cricket coaching techniques and methodologies.
Ability to inspire, mentor, and develop players at various skill levels.
Organizational and planning skills, with an ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to maintaining positive relationships within the team.
