Requirements :

 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in concepts of DevOps and Agile Principles

• Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.

• Experience working on Linux based infrastructure, troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs

• Good understanding on Protocols: OPC UA, HTTP, MQ, MQTT, SFTP

• Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies like HA Proxy, oauthproxy, nginx

• Awareness of Cloud services like RedHat OCP and AWS

• Working knowledge in monitoring applications like ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Metric Beat, Fluentd

• Proficient in automation tools such as Ansible and any others

• Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage

• Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible

• Coordination and communication within the team and with customers

• Mentoring and guiding the team members

• Experience in IIB/ACE development will be an added advantage

• Basic knowledge on IBM App Connect Enterprise, IBM MQSeries, IBM Watson Message Gateway (Amlen), NodeRed would be an added advantage

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Monitor and troubleshoot application issues deployed in OpenShift cluster

• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to critical incidents

• Participate during weekend support for OpenShift cluster updates and deployments

• Manage OpenShift clusters using automation tools such as Ansible and tekton pipelines.

• Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for code deployments and testing

• Strong understanding of containerization and container orchestration technologies

• Analyzing the problem and implementing workarounds.

• Updating knowledge management pages where and when needed.

• Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customer

• Incidence/Change/Problem management and root cause analysis for major incidents
