Role - Global Procurement - Vendor Risk Management


Job Summary:

AXA Global Business Services is seeking a Vendor Risk Analyst to strengthen our Vendor Risk capabilities during our transition to new operational methods. The successful candidate will assess vendor risk demands from the sourcing pipeline and S2C triage, conduct financial due diligence, and support the Vendor Risk Committee (VRC) activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Risk Framework:
  • Apply the Vendor Risk Framework to assess risks associated with vendors in the sourcing pipeline, VRC, and financial health check.
  • Sourcing Pipeline Requests:
  • Understand the Sourcing Pipeline, including key fields and stages, to assess the need for vendor risk evaluations.
  • Prepare and review reports on the Sourcing Pipeline, following up with Buyers/SBP regarding the Standard/Delegated Sourcing Process.
  • Financial Due Diligence:
  • Conduct financial due diligence using tools like CreditSAFE and Dun & Bradstreet.
  • Collaborate with Buyers and Business Requesters to verify vendor information.
  • Set up and manage ongoing alerts, ensuring they are communicated effectively to Buyers and Business Requesters.
  • Vendor Risk Committee (VRC):
  • Familiarize yourself with the VRC's terms of reference.
  • Ensure deals are presented at VRC meetings, prepare for meetings by updating decks, sending calendar invites, and ensuring all due diligence comments are up-to-date.
  • Document and distribute minutes of VRC meetings using standard templates.

Requirements:

  • Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Understanding of risk assessment and management principles.
  • Familiarity with vendor risk management tools such as COUPA Risk Assess, Process Unity, D&B, World Check/Refinitiv, Eco Vadis.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to vendor relationships.
