Chief Business Officer (CBO)Leads sales, marketing, distribution, investor engagement and digital initiatives to drive growth and client outcomes.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute business growth strategy.- Oversee marketing and sales teams.- Drive digital initiatives and client lifecycle management.- Collaborate with product and investment teams on go-to-market.Requirements:- MBA or equivalent in Business/Finance.- 15+ years in AMC or investment industry leadership.- Experience scaling businesses and partnerships.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):- AUM growth rate.- Client retention and satisfaction (NPS).- Channel partner expansion.- Marketing ROI and digital conversion.Reporting Line:Additional ResponsibilitiesGovern business risks, including distribution and misselling.Identify and escalate early warning signals and fraud in sales.Provide input to RO/CEO on distribution risk metrics and appetite.Update and test risk registers for sales/marketing-related controls.Report mis-selling cases, negative inspection remarks, and investor suitability breaches.Govern distribution risks, detect mis-selling, and analyze investor portfolio risk appetite.Perform periodic RCSA testing, track escalation of frauds, and ensure risk reports are shared with CEO.
