The ffreedom app is India's largest platform for Entrepreneurs, designed to empower individuals across various sectors by providing practical video-based learning. With a library of over 500+ courses, the app covers a wide range of topics, including personal finance, agriculture, animal husbandry, and numerous business sectors such as handicrafts, retail, service industries, and home-based ventures. Recently we have launched an AI Powered bot (SRI Chatbot) which can help customers to seek knowledge on any of the topics related to the categories we offer in the platform.
Our mobile app serves over 1.3 crore users and offers courses in six languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu. We are seeking passionate and talented individuals to join us as “ Software Engineer - Full Stack Web (PHP, React, Node.js) ” and contribute to exciting projects that push the boundaries of web development.
Role Overview:
We are seeking fresh graduates from college who are enthusiastic about web development and eager to embark on a rewarding career journey with us. As a “Software Engineer - Full Stack Web”, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with experienced developers, and contribute to the development of scalable and innovative web applications using PHP, MySQL, React, and Node.js.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Web Development: Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using PHP, MySQL, MongoDB, React, and Node.js, Redis following best practices and coding standards. 2. Frontend Development: Implement user interfaces using React.js and other frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. 3. Backend Development: Build RESTful APIs and server-side logic using Node.js and Express framework, and integrate with databases and other third-party services. 4. Database Management: Design and implement database schemas, perform database operations, and ensure data integrity and security. 5. Testing and Debugging: Write unit tests, conduct integration testing, and debug issues to ensure the reliability and performance of web applications. 6. Documentation: Document code, APIs, and technical specifications to facilitate maintainability and knowledge sharing. 7. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in web development, PHP, MySQL, React, Node.js, and related technologies.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Strong programming skills in PHP and JavaScript, with experience in frontend development using React.js.
3. Proficiency in server-side development with Node.js and the Express framework.
4. Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL query proficiency; familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
5. Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony and caching mechanisms.
6. Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and teamwork abilities.
8. Prior internship or project experience in full-stack web development; contributions to open-source or personal projects showcasing relevant skills are a plus.
