Position Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Tester with at least 3 years of experience in testing both Android and iOS mobile applications , particularly mobile games. This is a key role where you will ensure the quality, performance, and functionality of our casual and skill-based games (such as Ludo, Snake, and other multiplayer games) across both platforms. You will lead the testing efforts, conduct manual testing, and contribute to automation where possible. The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and high-quality gaming experience on both Android and iOS.

Experience:
  • At least 3 years of experience in software testing, focusing on mobile applications, particularly mobile games (casual games like Ludo, Snake, etc.).
  • Manual Testing Expertise: Strong experience in manual testing of mobile games, including functionality, usability, performance, and regression testing.
  • Automation Testing Knowledge: Experience with automation testing frameworks like Appium , Cypress , or similar tools is a significant plus.
  • Game Testing Experience: Proven experience testing games with features such as multiplayer functionality, real-time leaderboards, in-app purchases, and backend service integration (e.g., Firebase, Google Cloud Fire store).
  • Bug Tracking & Reporting: Proficient in using JIRA , TestRail , or other bug tracking and test management tools to document and manage defects.
  • Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to evaluate load times, frame rate consistency, and multiplayer latency on both Android and iOS platforms..
  • Cross-Platform Knowledge: Experience in ensuring consistent behavior and performance across Android and iOS devices, including testing platform-specific functionalities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience working in agile development teams, with a focus on rapid iteration and high-quality product delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate testing issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A passion for gaming and understanding of gaming trends, mechanics, and player engagement.
Preferred Skills:
  • Gaming Engine Knowledge: Familiarity with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine or Godot for testing integrated game features on both platforms.
  • Cloud & Backend Testing: Experience in testing cloud-based services and real-time data synchronization (e.g., Firebase, Google Cloud Fire store).
  • CI/CD Integration: Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing and improve release cycles.


Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially for troubleshooting and resolving issues in complex game mechanics.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to identify even the smallest issues that may affect gameplay or performance.
  • Enthusiastic about gaming and keeping up with the latest mobile gaming trends and technology.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
