Jaipur Rugs is a social enterprise that connects rural craftsmanship with global markets through its luxurious handmade carpets. It is a family-run business that offers an exclusive range of hand-knotted and hand-woven rugs made using 2500 years old traditional art forms. This changed the standard practice of involving middlemen to work with artisanal communities. The company currently has a network of over 40,000 artisans spread across 600 rural Indian villages in five states of India. It has an end-to-end business model, right from sourcing of wool to exporting a finished handmade rug. The modern and eclectic collection of rugs, made using the finest wool and silk, has won numerous global awards and is currently exported to more than 45 countries with the US sales arm, Jaipur Living, Inc. located in Georgia, Atlanta. Position Title: Senior Manager – Human Resources Human Resources Experience Required: 10–14 Years The Senior Manager – HR will play a key role in driving the HR Operations, Payroll, and Talent Management functions at Jaipur Rugs . The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring seamless HR processes, compliance, and employee experience while aligning people practices with the company’s purpose-driven culture and business objectives. HR Operations & Compliance Oversee end-to-end HR operations including employee onboarding, life cycle management, HRIS, and exit formalities. Ensure statutory compliance and timely submissions related to PF, ESIC, Gratuity, and other labor laws. Review and strengthen HR policies and standard operating procedures across all business units. Maintain and enhance HR data accuracy and reporting mechanisms. Payroll Management Lead the monthly payroll process ensuring accuracy, statutory deductions, and timely disbursement. Coordinate with Finance for salary reconciliation, audits, and related compliance documentation. Manage employee benefits, reimbursements, and full & final settlements efficiently. Talent Management & Development Drive the annual performance management cycle, including goal setting, appraisals, and feedback discussions. Identify learning and development needs; partner with business and L&D teams for implementation. Support leadership development, succession planning, and career progression initiatives. Partner with leadership to design and implement employee recognition and retention programs. Education: MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent. Experience: 10–14 years of experience in HR Operations, Payroll, and Talent Management, preferably in manufacturing or process-driven industries. Strong understanding of labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR best practices. Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in HRMS tools and MS Office suite.
